Hello my name is Lusso 101 and I'm a LUX-O-HOLIC. So, I've been told that the first step to recovery is admitting that you have an addiction. At a very young age, my mother told me that she knew I was going to be in the entertainment industry. Growing up an only child, my acting skills reached Oscar worthy status in a blink of any eye. By the time I was 16 years old, my parents were like putty in my hands. Being a spoiled brat does not mean I have not had my share of NO's. When I heard the word NO, I think MAYBE. There is always a way to get around the word NO. Stand your ground and COMPROMISE! This is where the addiction begins.
The following scenario is based on us "common, everyday working folk" lol; not Hollywood Socialites, trust fund babies and NFL Housewives. For example, you are walking through the mall and notice a pair of designer shoes with the matching handbag for only $475. Now you have a couple of options: (a) go in and purchase right away; (b) wait until it the items go on sale or (c) purchase at the outlet mall or (d) find a similar kind of handbag and shoes at a more economical price.
If you answered ‘d’ you are CORRECT! Luxury is all about the details. Excellent attention to details, tailored craftsmanship and high quality materials is what defines any product a luxury. Whether it is beauty products, designer clothes, shoes, handbags, fine dinning and traveling, everyone can experience luxury, regardless of your income level. Ok, maybe I was going to fast. Let's do a brief recap:
NO + MAYBE = COMPROMISE which is equivalent to YES!
